Before film school, Ailina expressed her love for video by capturing her travel adventures. She and others drove in an RV through the many cities of Alaska. Alaska had beautiful landscapes and outstretched horizons to fly out her drone seeing bears, snowcaps, and more.

Safety is a major concern in film schools. There is a lack of guidance, education, and protocol for students to film stunt scenes. Ailina and her partners founded a team to assist fellow NYU filmmakers and provide ways to effectively film scenes with basic fights, weapons, and falls. The goal is to keep crew and talent safe, with minimum expense, which DDC achieves showcased in this reel.

With her background in competitive dance, Ailina was brought on Irrational to choreograph three dance numbers for a full musical film. This project took a year to prepare and execute in a seven day shoot. She collaborated with up to 10 ensemble dancers and complemented her style with cinematography.
